About Us:

Laura Riden LLB

As a mum of two, family has always been at the heart of everything I do. After earning my law degree, life took me in a different direction as I focused on raising my children and building a family. Those experiences have shaped who I am today and given me a genuine understanding of the importance of protecting the people we love.

Throughout my personal and professional journey, I have always enjoyed helping others. This passion, combined with my legal background, led me to estate planning—a field that I find both rewarding and meaningful. Having seen first-hand the benefits that effective estate planning can provide, I understand the peace of mind that comes from knowing your family and wishes are protected for the future.

I believe estate planning is about more than just documents; it is about providing security, clarity, and reassurance for those who matter most. My approach is friendly, approachable, and centred on understanding each individual's circumstances and goals.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and making the most of the outdoors. Whether it's exploring new places, enjoying nature, or simply being together, these moments remind me of the importance of planning ahead and creating a secure future for the people we care about.

I am passionate about helping individuals and families take positive steps towards protecting what matters most, giving them confidence and peace of mind for the years ahead.

After spending more than 10 years in financial services as both a tied adviser and an Independent Financial Adviser, helping individuals and families plan for their future, I stepped away from the industry to focus on raising my daughter as a single parent. That experience gave me an even greater appreciation of the importance of protecting the people we love and planning ahead for whatever life may bring.

My passion for estate planning comes not only from my professional background but also from personal experience. Having lost both of my parents, I saw first-hand the reassurance and clarity that comes from knowing a loved one's wishes are clearly documented. Their planning helped make a difficult time a little easier for those left behind.

I have also experienced the challenges that can arise when someone dies without a Will. After losing my brother, I saw the stress, uncertainty and complications that intestacy can create for families at an already emotional time. It reinforced my belief that having the right arrangements in place can make a significant difference when it matters most.

These experiences are the reason I do what I do today. I understand that estate planning can feel daunting, but it doesn't have to be. My aim is to provide friendly, straightforward guidance to help you make informed decisions about Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and protecting your loved ones.

For me, estate planning is about more than documents—it's about giving you and your family peace of mind, knowing your wishes are clear and those you care about most will be looked after.
